At a height of 10,000 feet (3,050 meters), there are striking cloud-capped peaks and 108 hillside chortens (Buddhist shrines), while colorful prayer flags add a special dimension to the vicinity.

Visa Requirements:
You will need a passport and visa to enter and exit Bhutan. Visas are only issued on arrival, but you must apply in advance through a tour operator and receive visa approval before you travel. … The Tourism Council of Bhutan sets a non-negotiable minimum daily tariff for all visitors to Bhutan

Flights to Paro Airport (PBH) are available from Bangkok, Singapore, Kathmandu, Dhaka and New Delhi, served by Druk Air and Bhutan Airlines.

While visiting Bhutan, all foreign tourists must be accompanied by a licensed guide at all times. Restricted areas require permits applied through the immigration office in Thimphu. Checkpoints are located at road junctions throughout the country and independent traveling by foreign tourists (except for citizens of India, Bangladesh and Maldives) is strictly prohibited.

 

Languages Spoken:
Dzongkha, the national language, is the only language with a native literary tradition in Bhutan, though Lepcha and Nepali are literary languages in other countries and good English communication.

Rates start at $1,500 for double occupancy, and as a special opening offer until further notice, Six Senses Bhutan will offer an inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner (restaurant dining or picnic).

Payment policy: Valid credit card is required at time of booking. 20pct deposit will be charged 7 days after the booking made. Six Senses Bhutan Reservation team will contact you or the guests to finalize travel itinerary to confirm the booking. The charge will be done once the booking confirmed.
