BTS SKYTRAIN

The BTS Skytrain is the most convenient way to get about Bangkok. The two lines Sukhumvit and Silom cover much of the central city. Trains run from 6:00am to midnight. The fare is based on the distance covered. Single Journey Tickets can be purchased at any ticket issuing machine In the station. A one day pass for 140 THB valid for unlimited rides on the date of issue or registration only is available at all BTS Ticket Offices. We suggest you download the fee Skytrain App to your smart phone.

MRT

The MRT, Bangkok’s subway system is also a safe and efficient way to reach more out of town destinations. It consists of one line. Tickets are bought in the form of tokens from machines at the stations. The subway connects to the BTS at Asoke and Mo Chit stations

TAXIS

Taxis are inexpensive and plentiful in Bangkok. We can call a taxi for you at the hotel and give them instructions to find your destination. However when flagging one in the street be sure they put on their meter and you give them clear instructions on where you want to go. Smart phone directions are the best way.

TUK-TUKS

Bangkok’s famous tuk- tuks can be hired in other parts of the city. Be sure to negotiate the fare before you step in and start your journey… and instruct the driver bpai shâ shâ – go slowly!

FERRY BOATS

The rooms are very compact three-storey towers. The downstairs hall doubles as a simple bathroom with two showers and a minibar. A very steep flight of stairs leads to the air-conditioned bedroom which is dominated by a king-sized bed raised on a wooden platform, helped along by a computer, great lighting, lots of mirrors and little else.

A sliding door leads onto a spacious roof terrace with a table and chairs. From here a steep ladder leads onto the roof, topped by a double hammock raised on a platform from where guests can enjoy excellent views over the treetops to the river and in the far distance, Bangkok’s skyline.
